We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Truck Owner Subcontractor to join our team in Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa. This role is a contract position offering a competitive compensation of ZAR 20,000 per month. As a Truck Owner Subcontractor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our transportation services.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain your truck to meet performance and safety standards.Transport goods and materials to designated locations in a timely manner.Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for deliveries.Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules.Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road.Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo to prevent damage.Required and Preferred QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Proven skill in truck operation and maintenance.Valid driver's license appropriate for the type of truck operated.Proficiency in completing vehicle inspection reports.Previous experience as a truck owner or subcontractor is preferred.This role requires collaboration with dispatchers and potentially other subcontractors, ensuring efficient transport operations. You will report directly to the operations manager and may work alongside a team of logistics personnel.Collaboration with different departments, including logistics and customer service, is essential to meet delivery timelines and ensure customer satisfaction.
