We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in the Federal Republic of Germany. This full-time position offers an annual salary of €135,000. The role is integral to designing and developing embedded software for innovative systems. As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of sophisticated technologies that impact various industries.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement software solutions using C/C++ for embedded systems.Develop and integrate real-time operating systems (RTOS) into existing applications.Conduct testing and debugging of applications to ensure performance and reliability.Collaborate with hardware engineers to define and optimize system performance.Document software development processes, code changes, and system specifications.Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.Assist in troubleshooting and providing technical support during product lifecycle.Required and preferred qualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.Proficiency in C/C++ programming.Experience in embedded systems design.Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS).5+ years of relevant experience in embedded software development preferred.The Embedded Software Engineer will work within a dedicated team structure, collaborating closely with other engineers and stakeholders to develop high-quality software solutions. This position reports to the lead software architect, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.Cross-functional collaboration is essential, as you will interact with hardware, QA, and product management teams to create cohesive and effective solutions. Your contributions will help drive the success metrics for software performance, efficiency, and project completion.
