As a BCBA, you will have the chance to implement strategies and interventions that improve behavior and learning outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct functional behavior assessments and analyze data to develop intervention plans.Implement and monitor behavioral programs in accordance with best practice standards.Provide training to staff and families on the principles of behavior analysis.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive treatment approaches.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment strategies.Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and team feedback.Attend and participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities.Required and preferred qualificationsMaster's Degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related field.Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA).Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Experience in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans.Proficiency with behavioral assessment tools and data collection methods.This role typically requires you to work alongside a team of professionals dedicated to supporting clients and their families. You will report directly to a clinical supervisor or director, promoting a consistent approach in treatment and skill development. Collaboration with other specialists and educators is key to achieving successful outcomes for clients.As a BCBA, you will utilize common tools found in the field, such as data analysis software, assessment tools, and reporting systems to support your work.
