We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This full-time position plays a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and integrity within the organization. The successful candidate will take responsibility for a variety of accounting tasks, working in a collaborative environment that emphasizes precision and adherence to standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain accurate financial statements in compliance with GAAP and lease accounting standards.Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely processing and reporting.Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accurate financial records.Assist with the monthly close process, including journal entries and account analysis.Handle lease accounting for NNN lease structures, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.Utilize QuickBooks for financial tracking and management tasks.Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and leading accounting inquiries.Required and preferred qualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.Proficiency in QuickBooks is required for daily accounting tasks.Hands-on experience with Yardi Voyager.Strong knowledge of GAAP and lease accounting standards is essential.Experience with NNN lease structures is preferred.This position involves collaboration with various departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance. As part of a dedicated finance team, you will report to the Finance Manager and work closely with other accounting professionals to achieve departmental goals.
