We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated AI-Assisted Document Translator to join our team in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa, on a part-time basis. Key Responsibilities Utilize AI translation software to translate documents from one language to another while ensuring accuracy and context are preserved. Review and edit translated documents for clarity, grammar, and language nuances. Manage time effectively to meet project deadlines and prioritize tasks based on workload. Collaborate with team members to clarify translation requirements and improve processes. Engage in continuous learning of new tools and techniques for translation to enhance efficiency. Assist in maintaining translation memory databases and glossaries for consistency across projects. Provide feedback on AI software performance to contribute to system improvements. Required and preferred qualifications High school diploma or equivalent education. Attention to detail for accuracy in translation and editing. Basic computer skills, with familiarity in AI-assisted translation tools preferred. Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects effectively. Bilingual proficiency in English and at least one other language. Experience in document translation or editing is a plus.
