We are seeking motivated General Workers to join our team at the Northam mine located in Pretoria, Gauteng. This full-time position offers a monthly compensation of ZAR 10,000. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a physically demanding environment, contributing to the overall efficiency and productivity of our operations.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform manual labor tasks such as operating machinery, handling materials, and assisting in various mine-related activities.Ensure a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and maintaining equipment cleanliness.Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals and respond to operational needs.Monitor equipment and report any issues or malfunctions to supervisors to prevent downtime.Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and adhere to all safety regulations.Maintain attention to detail in the execution of tasks, ensuring high standards of work are met.Assist with inventory checks and material handling as required.Required and preferred qualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Physical stamina to perform strenuous tasks.Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.Attention to detail in all tasks undertaken.Previous experience in a physical work environment is preferred but not mandatory.The team structure consists of various departments collaborating to ensure smooth operations within the mine.
