We are seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to join our team in San Diego, California. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $200,000 per year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating engaging and efficient user interfaces using the latest frontend technologies. This role will have a significant impact on our product's user experience, ensuring that our applications are efficient, attractive, and user-friendly. Key Responsibilities Develop dynamic web applications using React and TypeScript. Implement and maintain web-based user interfaces using Next.js. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate API services into frontend applications. Optimize applications for speed and efficiency to enhance user experience. Maintain and improve existing code while continuously implementing best practices. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. Contribute to team discussions regarding application architecture and technology choices. Required and Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Next.js. Demonstrated experience in frontend development, ideally with over 3 years in a similar role. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques is preferred. The technical environment for this role includes working with a team structured around agile methodologies. You will report directly to the CTO and collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
