The Civil Engineer will play a critical role in designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects within Florida. This full-time position will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of civil engineering projects. The professional will operate in a structured work environment, contributing to the successful delivery of projects that have a significant impact on the community and infrastructure in Uruguay. Key Responsibilities Design and review engineering plans for civil projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations. Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to facilitate smooth project execution. Conduct site assessments and surveys to analyze land, structures, and environmental impact. Prepare and present project proposals to stakeholders and clients. Develop project budgets and timelines, monitoring progress to ensure adherence to goals. Support the planning and implementation of community infrastructure improvements. Utilize engineering software and tools to create detailed engineering models and simulations. Required and preferred qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in engineering design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required. Minimum of 3 years of relevant engineering experience in the civil sector. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. This role will involve collaboration with a diverse team, including project managers, architects, and construction workers. The Civil Engineer will report directly to the Senior Engineering Manager and engage regularly with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives. Collaboration across various functions will enhance the overall project execution, allowing for innovative solutions and improvements. The emphasis will be on leveraging technical expertise to deliver infrastructure solutions that benefit the community effectively.
