We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team in Secunda, Mpumalanga, South Africa. This full-time position involves operating heavy vehicles safely and efficiently, delivering essential materials within the mining sector. The role significantly impacts operational efficiency and supports the logistics of our operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy vehicles in compliance with traffic regulations and safety standards.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and performance.Load and unload materials as necessary, ensuring proper handling and securing of loads.Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and maintenance.Report any vehicle equipment malfunctions or issues to management promptly.Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and operations.Communicate effectively with logistics personnel to coordinate deliveries and schedules.Required and Preferred QualificationsValid driver’s license with a clean driving record.Proven experience in operating heavy vehicles.Knowledge of heavy vehicle operations and standard safety protocols.Ability to read and interpret road signs and maps.Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations.Strong communication and organizational skills.Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy loads.The role requires working within a team-oriented environment, collaborating with logistics and operations personnel to ensure a smooth delivery process.
