We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Operator to join our team in Secunda, Mpumalanga, South Africa. This full-time position involves operating heavy vehicles to transport materials efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety regulations. As a Dump Truck Operator, you will play a crucial role in our operations, significantly impacting project timelines and overall productivity.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and dirt to designated locations.Perform pre-operation inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and in proper working order.Execute basic maintenance and repairs on the dump truck as needed to ensure reliability.Ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and regulations while on the job site.Coordinate with site supervisors and other team members to effectively schedule and deliver materials.Maintain accurate records of daily operations, including material types and quantities transported.Respond to and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.Required and preferred qualificationsCertification in heavy vehicle operation is required.Proven skills in heavy vehicle operation.Basic maintenance skills to ensure the dump truck remains in good condition.Strong understanding of safety compliance in a construction environment.Prior experience as a dump truck operator or in a similar role is preferred.The successful Dump Truck Operator will be an integral part of our team.
