This role is for a full-time Truck Driver based in Boksburg, Gauteng, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that products are delivered on time and in good condition, impacting the overall efficiency of the supply chain.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate a truck safely and responsibly while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.Transport goods to various locations as directed.Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and mileage.Communicate effectively with team members and dispatch regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.Ensure that cargo is loaded and unloaded properly and securely to prevent damage during transport.Report any accidents, incidents, or vehicle troubles to management immediately.Required and preferred qualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Proven experience in safe driving practices.Valid commercial driver’s license.Ability to operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently.Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.This team will work in a supportive environment where safety is prioritized.
