We are seeking a dedicated Scrub Nurse to join our team in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. This full-time position offers an annual compensation of INR 400000. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and possess expertise in surgical assistance, playing a critical role in supporting surgical teams in a high-pressure environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist surgeons during operations by preparing the surgical field and maintaining a sterile environment.Handle surgical instruments and equipment, ensuring they are available and in proper working condition.Monitor patient status and provide necessary support to ensure safety during procedures.Communicate effectively with the surgical team, coordinating roles, and ensuring all aspects of the surgery run smoothly.Participate in the setup and breakdown of the operating room, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.Document relevant data and assist in patient follow-up care post-surgery.Stay updated on the latest surgical procedures and best practices to enhance patient care.Required and Preferred QualificationsBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required.Experience as a scrub nurse or in a surgical assistance role is preferred.Knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and patient care practices.Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.Relevant certifications in surgical nursing will be advantageous.Proficiency in using medical software and tools commonly utilized in surgical settings.This role will involve collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, anesthetists, and other nursing staff, contributing to a cohesive approach in patient care. Reporting relationships will involve direct communication with surgical team members and nursing supervisors.Collaboration across departments is key in this position, ensuring all patients receive comprehensive and efficient care during surgical processes.
