We are looking for a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team in Boksburg, Gauteng. This full-time position offers a monthly compensation of R 10,000. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and drive trucks to deliver goods to specified destinations.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the truck before and after each trip.Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding safe driving.Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery times, and vehicle maintenance.Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.Handle loading and unloading of cargo as required.Required and Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Proven driving skills with a valid driver's license.Ability to navigate using GPS and traditional maps.Strong time management skills and the ability to work on tight schedules.Previous experience in a truck driving role is preferred but not mandatory.The Truck Driver will report to the logistics manager and will work closely with the warehouse and inventory teams to ensure seamless operations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and teamwork, as successful delivery relies on effective cross-functional collaboration.
