They will serve as a technical leader in the shop, taking ownership of the most complex mechanical and electrical failures while maintaining a high standard of quality.Type: FulltimeShift schedule: Mon–Fri 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Weekend shift : Sat 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Job Locations: La Habra, Orange, Indio, Whittier – CaliforniaKey ResponsibilitiesDiagnose complex vehicle drivability, powertrain, and advanced electrical issues independently.Review detailed work orders and collaborate with Service Advisors to ensure accurate customer communication.Perform multi-point digital vehicle inspections and advanced system diagnostics to identify root causes.Estimate required labor times, parts lists, and specialized shop equipment needed for each repair.Complete minor and major mechanical repairs across all vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and suspension.Install replacement parts and precision components in strict accordance with manufacturer specifications.Document diagnostic findings, repair steps, and recommendations clearly within the shop management system.Mentor, guide, and lead junior shop technicians to elevate the team's overall technical capability.Utilize Identifix, factory scan tools, and modern diagnostic software efficiently to streamline troubleshooting.Maintain and responsibly operate professional-grade tools, heavy shop machinery, and lifts.Conduct thorough road tests on customer vehicles to ensure safety and validate the effectiveness of repairs.Adhere to all OSHA and local environmental regulations regarding chemical safety and heavy tool operations.Required Skills & Qualifications5–10+ years of hands-on automotive technician experience (3-4 years can be considered)ASE Master Certified (A1–A8)Demonstrated expertise with Domestic, Asian, and German/European importsElite electrical diagnostic ability (Rated at an 8+/10 expected level)Hands-on experience with Identifix or equivalent data diagnostic systemsValid Driver’s License with a clean driving record for road testingBenefitsBonuses $1500-$7000/monthPTO and holidays401(k) matchHealth, dental, vision
