CT TechnologistFull-timeWeekend NightsJob SummaryGrady Health System is seeking a Full-Time CT Technologist to perform advanced computed tomography imaging procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. This role is responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images that support accurate and timely clinical interpretation while delivering patient-centered imaging services.The CT Technologist performs imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards, utilizing CT imaging equipment and related technologies to obtain diagnostic images across multiple anatomical planes. In collaboration with radiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary care teams, the technologist supports efficient imaging operations while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety, comfort, and care.In this role, the CT Technologist plays a key part in supporting daily imaging operations and maintaining efficient patient flow within the department. The technologist must demonstrate strong technical expertise, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to deliver high-quality imaging services within a fast-paced healthcare environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform CT imaging procedures in accordance with established imaging protocols and radiologist directionProduce high-quality diagnostic images to support accurate clinical interpretationMonitor and support patient safety, comfort, and care throughout imaging proceduresUtilize CT scanners and related imaging technologies to perform diagnostic studiesSupport efficient patient flow and examination throughput throughout assigned shiftsComplete accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory and departmental standardsMaintain compliance with licensure, certification, and continuing education requirementsRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GEDAssociate’s Degree from an approved school of Radiologic TechnologyRegistered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Registered TechnologistBasic Life Support (BLS) certification requiredARRT-CT certification within six (6) months of hire, if applicableMust remain in good standing with the ARRT or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) by maintaining required continuing education credits and completing annual license renewalARRT-CT Eligibility Pathways (Applicants May Be)Enrolled in an approved ARRT institution with an accredited Computed Tomography (CT) programA recent graduate of an approved ARRT institution with an accredited CT program and eligible for ARRT-CT certificationAn experienced Registered Technologist eligible for ARRT-CT certification through the American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsPreferred QualificationsComputed Tomography (CT) Technologist certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Equal Opportunity EmployerGrady Health System is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
