As an integral part of our finance team in a dynamic and growing accounting firm, the Accountant will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial records. This role directly impacts our operational excellence and contributes significantly to strategic financial decision-making.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and identify discrepancies.Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments.Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights to enhance financial performance.Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accounting support and insights on financial implications of business decisions.Support month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely financial reporting.Required and Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.Proven experience in accounting roles, preferably 2+ years in a similar position.Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA or CA) are a plus.Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.In this role, you will be part of a supportive team that fosters a collaborative culture.
