This position is critical in assisting our dental team to ensure efficient operations and a positive experience for our patients.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are available and ready.Perform routine clerical tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling billing inquiries.Prepare and sterilize instruments and dental equipment to maintain a clean and safe working environment.Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide postoperative care instructions.Ensure a welcoming environment by greeting patients, taking their medical histories, and answering any questions or concerns.Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure seamless patient flow and address any issues that arise during procedures.Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and assist in ordering necessary materials.Required and preferred qualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required.Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.Prior experience as a dental assistant is preferred, though motivated candidates with relevant training may be considered.Familiarity with dental software and tools is advantageous.Certification in dental assisting or other related certifications is a plus.In our dental practice, you'll be joining a supportive team that values collaboration and open communication.
