We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Bus Driver to join our team in Leeuwarden, Friesland, Netherlands. As a full-time Bus Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of our passengers across the designated routes. This position is integral in providing an essential service to our community, promoting safety and service excellence in a dynamic work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate buses in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to traffic regulations and company policies.Inspect the bus before and after each trip for mechanical and safety issues, ensuring cleanliness and operational readiness.Provide excellent customer service to passengers, assisting with boarding, answering questions, and addressing concerns.Maintain accurate records of routes, schedules, and passenger counts while adhering to timetables.Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding route changes or passenger needs.Participate in ongoing training and safety briefings to improve driving techniques and customer service skills.Assist in emergency situations as necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of passengers and the community.Required and Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred.Strong proficiency in driving and navigating large vehicles.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar role is preferred, but not required.Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.Our team structure includes a solid group of drivers supported by an experienced management team dedicated to the safety and satisfaction of our passengers.
