We are seeking a compassionate and supportive Support Worker to join our dedicated team in Melksham, Wiltshire. Working in a dynamic environment, you will play a crucial role in fostering independence and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide personalized support to clients in daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.Assist clients with mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities, ensuring their safety and comfort.Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress and care provided, reporting any significant changes to the supervising staff.Encourage and motivate clients in participating in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other team members to address care needs and challenges.Implement care plans tailored to each client’s specific needs, ensuring consistency and quality of service.Participate in team meetings and training sessions to continuously enhance care practices and teamwork.Required and Preferred QualificationsRelevant certifications in caregiving or support work.Strong skills in compassion, communication, patience, teamwork, and first aid.Previous experience in a support worker or similar role preferred.Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a care setting.Training can also be provided if you are new to care jobJoin an organization that values growth and development opportunities for all employees.
