We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis in Wayne, New Jersey. As a per diem Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patients’ recovery journeys by leveraging your expertise and compassionate approach in a supportive work environment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate their occupational needs and potential for rehabilitation.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals and capabilities.Provide direct patient care, utilizing therapeutic techniques to enhance physical and cognitive functions.Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed based on clinical judgment and patient feedback.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care for patients.Educate patients and their families regarding therapeutic interventions and follow-up care.Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards.Required and Preferred QualificationsCurrent state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Occupational Therapy.Strong skills in patient care, communication, assessment, rehabilitation, and teamwork.Experience with diverse patient populations is preferred.Knowledge of industry standards, including relevant therapeutic practices and tools.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Our team is composed of passionate professionals who prioritize creating a supportive and engaging atmosphere.
