We are seeking a skilled Dump Truck Operator to join our team at Impala Platinum Mine located in North West, South Africa. Your contributions will support essential mining processes and help in driving the success of the company.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate a dump truck to transport materials safely and effectively within the mine site.Conduct pre-operation checks to ensure the truck is in safe working condition.Load, transport, and unload materials as directed by site supervisors.Maintain accurate logs of material transport and ensure compliance with operating procedures.Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors to coordinate transportation tasks.Follow all safety guidelines and regulations to minimize hazards on site.Participate in regular equipment maintenance and report any mechanical issues immediately.Required and Preferred QualificationsEducation: Minimum Grade 10/12.Skills: Proven experience in dump truck operation.Certifications: Relevant certifications for operating heavy machinery are preferred.Tools: Familiarity with mining industry software and machinery is a plus.Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience operating dump trucks in a mining or construction environment.The technical environment consists of modern dump trucks and related equipment, working collaboratively with a team of operators and site supervisors.
