We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med-Surg / ICU team located in Orlando, FL. As a full-time RN, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the recovery and well-being of patients during their critical times.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive clinical assessments for patients on Med-Surg and ICU units.Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and changes in conditions consistently.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans.Educate patients and their families about health conditions, medications, and post-discharge instructions.Assist in the supervision and training of nursing students and new staff members.Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient care and safety.Required and preferred qualificationsAssociate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.Minimum of 1-3 years of nursing experience in a Med-Surg or ICU setting.Strong clinical assessment skills and proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.We pride ourselves on fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment where professional development is encouraged.
