We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Hayward, CA for the upcoming school year 2026-27. You will play a vital role in supporting students' mental health and enhancing their learning experiences.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct psychological evaluations and assessments to identify students' needs and develop individualized educational plans.Collaborate with teachers and school staff to create a supportive learning environment for all students.Provide counseling and intervention services to students facing academic or personal challenges.Consult with parents and guardians to discuss student progress and recommend strategies for improvement.Monitor and assess the effectiveness of interventions and adjust strategies accordingly.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support the academic and emotional growth of students.Provide training and resources to staff on mental health issues, student support, and effective communication strategies.Required and Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Psychology is required.Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff.Experience working in educational settings is preferred.Familiarity with current psychological assessments and interventions.Relevant certifications (e.g., Nationally Certified School Psychologist - NCSP) are a plus.Proficiency in using various educational and communication software/tools.A minimum of 2 years of experience in a school or clinical setting is preferred.Our institution promotes a positive and inclusive culture that values diversity and collaboration.
