We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Rialto, CA for the school year 2026-27. As a Special Education Teacher, you will work in a collaborative environment, ensuring every student receives the individualized support they deserve.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the specific needs of students.Conduct assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.Provide direct instruction and support in a variety of subject areas, focusing on improving students' academic skills.Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and specialists to foster a supportive educational experience.Facilitate a positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to integrate students into mainstream classes.Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress and behavior to support ongoing evaluation of IEPs.Required and preferred qualificationsBachelor's Degree in Special Education.Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.Experience in working with students with disabilities is preferred.Familiarity with special education laws and regulations.Ability to adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs.Certification in Special Education is a plus.Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.In our school, you will have the opportunity for professional growth through ongoing training and workshops.
