We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our educational team in San Bernardino, CA for the 2026-27 school year. In this full-time role, you will provide essential psychological support to students, helping to create a positive learning environment and enhance their overall well-being. You will play a significant role in promoting mental health awareness and implementing effective strategies to support both students and staff within our school community.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' needs and develop appropriate interventions.Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with various issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).Facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff and parents on mental health topics and effective strategies to support students.Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary, maintaining accurate records of assessments and student outcomes.Engage in crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies or critical incidents.Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to promote a holistic approach to student support.Required and Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Psychology (required).Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, families, and school staff.Experience working in an educational setting is preferred.Knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.Familiarity with relevant software and tools utilized in school psychology practice.Ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused environment.Licensure or certification as a School Psychologist may be required based on state regulations.This role offers ample growth opportunities within our supportive educational community.
