We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2026-27 school year in San Bernardino, CA. Your work will have a significant impact on improving the lives of these students, enabling them to reach their full potential.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs and goals of each student.Develop engaging lesson plans that facilitate learning while accommodating various learning styles and abilities.Assess students' progress regularly and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders regarding student progress and challenges.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other teachers, therapists, and administrative staff to ensure a comprehensive support system for students.Maintain accurate records of students' performance and progress to inform educational decisions and mandates.Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and community outreach events aimed at enhancing the educational experience of all students.Required and Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Special Education is required.Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with students, families, and staff.Experience working with diverse student populations and adapting educational approaches to meet varied needs.Preferred certifications in special education and knowledge of modern teaching methodologies.Familiarity with relevant software and tools for education, such as IEP management systems.1-3 years of experience in a special education setting is preferred.The successful candidate will work within a collaborative team structure that encourages professional growth and development.
