We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in La Mesa, CA, for the 2026-27 school year. This full-time position offers a dynamic work environment where collaboration with educators and parents is key to supporting our students' academic and personal growth.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and social development.Provide individual and group counseling to students facing academic, social, and emotional challenges.Develop and implement effective intervention strategies and educational plans tailored to students' needs.Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create a supportive environment conducive to learning.Monitor and assess the progress of students receiving mental health support.Participate in school meetings and contribute to the development of school-wide policies on mental health.Facilitate training and workshops for staff related to student mental health and crisis intervention.Required and Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in School Psychology.Strong counseling and communication skills.Experience working in a K-12 educational setting, preferred.Familiarity with educational software and tools related to student assessments and data tracking.License or certification in school psychology as required by the state of California.Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferred.Our team consists of experienced professionals dedicated to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.
