We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Vanrhynsdorp, Western Cape, South Africa. Key Responsibilities Perform various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on metal components. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine correct welding process. Inspect welds to ensure quality and adherence to specified standards. Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working order and report any malfunctions. Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and improve efficiency. Assist in training junior welders in welding techniques and safety practices. Participate in projects, ensuring timely completion while adhering to safety regulations. Required and preferred qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Welder, with at least 3-5 years in a similar role. Strong understanding of welding techniques and metallurgy. Certification in welding from an accredited institution is a plus. Familiarity with using welding tools and equipment safely. Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
