The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods while ensuring adherence to traffic regulations and company policies. This full-time position is crucial to maintaining our delivery schedules and enhancing customer satisfaction, contributing significantly to the overall success of our operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate and drive a Code 14 vehicle to transport goods to various locations.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and performance standards are met.Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company procedures while on the road.Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any discrepancies.Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delivery updates and any issues encountered.Provide exceptional customer service by representing the company positively during deliveries.Participate in ongoing training and development to improve driving skills and knowledge of industry regulations.Required and preferred qualificationsValid Code 14 Driver's License is mandatory.Proven experience as a professional driver, preferably in a logistics or transportation environment.Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and vehicle maintenance.Good physical condition and the ability to handle long hours on the road.Knowledge of basic vehicle mechanical aspects is a plus.Our team is structured to foster collaboration and efficiency, comprising a mix of experienced drivers, dispatch personnel, and managerial staff.
