We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist In Charge to join our team in Nacogdoches, Texas. As a full-time position, this role plays a crucial part in the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care and services to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a Pharmacist License within the state of Texas and a passion for healthcare, as they will ensure the safe and effective use of medication within our community, making a significant impact on patient outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing and inventory management.Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to pharmacy practice.Provide clinical consultations to healthcare providers and patients regarding medication therapy.Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care plans and medication regimens.Train and mentor pharmacy staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.Monitor the pharmacy's performance metrics and implement improvement strategies as needed.Engage with customers to provide exceptional service and resolve medication-related issues.Required and Preferred QualificationsActive pharmacist license in the state of Texas.Strong pharmaceutical knowledge with an emphasis on problem-solving and attention to detail.Excellent teamwork and customer service skills.Prior experience in a pharmacy setting preferred but not required.Industry-standard certifications such as BCPS (Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist) are a plus.The position operates within a supportive and collaborative team environment, ensuring that everyone works toward common patient-centered goals.
