As a critical player in our logistics operation, you will contribute to the timely and secure transportation of flatbed loads throughout the region. Our company prides itself on fostering a professional yet inviting work environment, where you can feel valued and make a significant impact while ensuring the safe delivery of materials to our clients.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate a flatbed truck, adhering to all local, state, and federal regulations.Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of materials to prevent damage during transit.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain optimal truck performance.Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, transport details, and fuel expenditures.Coordinate with dispatch to receive instructions and update on delivery timelines and any issues.Deliver loads to designated locations in a timely manner while providing excellent customer service.Participate in routine maintenance of the vehicle and report any mechanical issues immediately.Required and Preferred QualificationsValid CDL A license with experience in flatbed driving.High School Diploma or GED is required.Proven track record of safe driving and adherence to transportation regulations.Experience with securement methods for flatbed cargo.Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems.Strong communication skills for interaction with team members and clients.Minimum of two years of driving experience is preferred.Our CDL A Flatbed Drivers are a vital part of our logistics team, which consists of skilled professionals dedicated to safety and service excellence.
