Our client is a fast-growing vehicle tracking and fleet management company, delivering smart, data-driven solutions to businesses across South Africa. They help their clients improve efficiency, reduce risk, and gain full visibility over their fleet operationsRole Overview :They are looking for a proactive and client-focused Key Accounts Manager to manage and retain their existing client base. This role is focused on retention and relationship management, ensuring clients receive exceptional service while identifying opportunities to expand their usage of our clients solutions. You will act as the primary point of contact for key clients and play a critical role in reducing churn and increasing lifetime value.Key Responsibilities :• Manage a portfolio of existing clients (SME to enterprise fleet clients)• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships• Conduct regular client check-ins and account reviews• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities• Proactively prevent cancellations and reduce churn• Handle and resolve client support escalations effectively• Liaise with internal teams (support, technical, accounts) to ensure service delivery• Monitor client usage, satisfaction, and performance trends• Ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing client successKey Performance Indicators (KPIs) :• Client retention rate• Churn reduction• Revenue growth within accounts (upsell/cross-sell)• Customer satisfaction (CSAT / NPS)• Response and resolution time on client issues• Account engagement (check-ins, reviews completed)Requirements :• Matric (Grade 12) - essential• Minimum 5 years experience in:• Account management OR• Customer success OR• Relationship management• Experience in B2B environments highly advantageous• Experience in vehicle tracking, telematics, logistics, or Software as a Service preferred• Strong administrative and CRM skills• Excellent communication skills• Own reliable transport or access to e-hailingKey Competencies :• Relationship-building and client trust• Problem-solving and conflict resolution• Strong communication and follow-through• Customer-centric mindset• Commercial awareness (ability to spot revenue opportunities)• Emotional intelligence and patienceWhat Success Looks Like :• Clients stay longer and spend more• Reduced escalations and complaints• Strong client relationships and trust• Increased account value over time
