We are seeking a dedicated Trustee for our Christian Organisation based in London Colney, England. This volunteer role is integral to our leadership team, providing strategic oversight and guidance to our mission-driven initiatives. As a Trustee, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation and ensuring that we effectively serve our community. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about our cause and want to make a significant impact through their leadership and expertise.Key ResponsibilitiesAttend and actively participate in board meetings, sharing insights and decision-making on organisational strategy.Contribute to the development and monitoring of the organisation's goals and objectives.Engage in fundraising activities, leveraging your network and resources to support our mission financially.Foster communication and collaboration between board members, staff, and volunteers to enhance operational efficiency.Provide oversight of the financial health of the organisation, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.Support the recruitment, evaluation, and development of key organisational personnel.Represent the organisation at community events and advocate for its mission and values.Required and Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in a relevant field.Proven leadership experience, preferably in a non-profit or faith-based context.Demonstrated skills in fundraising and resource development.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience in governance or previous board service is a plus.Our team is composed of dedicated professionals working collaboratively to fulfill our mission.
