We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice in Wilmington, Delaware. Our clinic fosters a culture that prioritizes teamwork, respect, and ongoing professional development, making it an ideal place to start or further your career in dental healthcare.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring all necessary tools and materials are prepared and available.Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a clean and safe working environment.Take and develop dental X-rays as per patient treatment plans and dentist directions.Provide patient education to help them understand their treatment plans and oral health needs.Manage patient records, scheduling appointments, and follow-up reminders to enhance patient experience.Support administrative duties, such as handling patient inquiries and insurance claims processing.Collaborate with the dental team to ensure optimal patient care and improve the overall efficiency of the practice.Required and Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED is required.Certified in X-ray procedures and patient care.Previous experience as a dental assistant is preferred but not mandatory.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and dental staff.Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.Proficient with dental software and technology is a plus.Our dental practice offers numerous opportunities for growth, with potential advancement into specialized areas of dental care.
