Our company is well-regarded in the construction industry, and we value professionalism, teamwork, and a robust work ethic.Key ResponsibilitiesLay bricks, blocks, and stone to create walls, arches, and other structures, ensuring proper alignment and adherence to specifications.Mix mortar and other materials to the correct consistency and proportion for use in bricklaying projects.Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine layout dimensions and material requirements.Repair and restore existing brickwork, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.Collaborate closely with site supervisors and other construction team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to client satisfaction.Maintain tools and equipment used in masonry work, ensuring they are in good condition and safe to operate.Comply with all safety regulations and standards, striving to maintain a safe work environment at all times.Required and Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED is required.Proven experience in masonry, with a strong understanding of brick installation techniques.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Familiarity with masonry tools and equipment.Prior experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.This role will be supported by a dedicated team of construction professionals and will require reporting to a site foreman.
