We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 2 Year MC Authority Owner Operator to join our logistics team in Albany, Georgia. This contract position offers an opportunity to operate independently, providing essential transportation services within the region. With a competitive annual compensation of $375,000, this role plays a critical part in our operations, ensuring timely and efficient freight transportation while maintaining the highest safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate a commercial vehicle to transport goods safely and efficiently across designated routes.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.Maintain accurate logs of vehicle operations, including hours of service and cargo documentation.Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.Communicate regularly with dispatch and other team members regarding freight status and any potential issues.Manage maintenance and repairs of the vehicle, coordinating with service providers as needed.Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, fostering positive relationships with clients.Required and Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Owner Operator with MC Authority.Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance.Familiarity with DOT regulations and freight transportation.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.Proficiency in vehicle maintenance and minor repairs.This position operates autonomously within a supportive team environment, allowing for personal accountability and a chance to excel.
