We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Storekeeper to join our team, focusing on interior fit-out projects. This full-time position is based in Kamothe, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, within a dynamic company that specializes in transforming spaces. As a Storekeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our projects run smoothly by managing inventory and supplies effectively, thus having a significant impact on project timelines and team efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain complete inventory records of materials received, issued, and balance stock at site/store.Handle material inward and outward entries and maintain stock registers and reports.Verify materials received from vendors according to Purchase Order (PO), delivery challan, and quantity specifications.Issue materials to site teams and contractors based on site requirements and approved requests.Maintain proper GRN (Goods Receipt Note), material issue slips, and stock documentation.Track material consumption and wastage during project execution.Maintain proper labelling, stacking, and safe storage of materials.Coordinate with purchase team, project managers, and site supervisors for material requirements.Conduct periodic inventory checks and stock audits.Ensure timely availability of materials at site to avoid work delays.Maintain records of tools, equipment, and machinery issued to workers.Report shortages, damages, or discrepancies to management immediately.Knowledge of Materials (Important)Candidate should have knowledge of materials used in interior turnkey projects, such as:Plywood, MDF, Particle BoardLaminates, Veneers, Edge BandsHardware fittings and accessoriesGypsum boards and ceiling materialsElectrical items (wires, switches, conduits, panels)HVAC materialsFire fighting materialsNetworking and data cabling materialsPlumbing and sanitary fittingsAdhesives, screws, and fixing accessoriesRequirements & SkillsMinimum 3–6 years experience as Storekeeper in interior fit-out or construction projects.Knowledge of inventory management and material handling.Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel / inventory records).Ability to maintain accurate stock reports and documentation.Good coordination with site engineers, supervisors, and vendors.Strong attention to detail and record keeping.This role offers opportunities for growth and advancement within the company as we expand our projects and team.
