In this role, you will work in a supportive and collaborative environment, where your contributions directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect, maintain, and repair mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality.Install and align machinery, using precision measuring instruments and tools.Collaborate with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.Document maintenance and repair procedures to maintain compliance with industry standards.Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plant machinery.Ensure safety protocols are followed in the workshop and during all fitting operations.Participate in project-based work, contributing mechanical expertise to new installations and upgrades.Required and preferred qualificationsTrade test certification in Mechanical Fitting.Proven experience in mechanical fitting and maintenance.Proficient in using industrial tools and equipment relevant to mechanical fitting.Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is an advantage.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.Our company fosters a culture of growth and innovation, where you will find plenty of opportunities for professional development and advancement.
