In this full-time position, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact our logistics and delivery processes, ensuring safe and timely transport.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate vehicles under Code 10 or 14, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.Transport goods to designated locations while ensuring proper handling and securing of loads.Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are kept in good operating condition.Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents that occur during trips.Assist in loading and unloading cargo, including forklift operation as needed.Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any road issues.Attend training sessions to stay updated on traffic laws and safety protocols.Required and Preferred QualificationsValid Driver’s License (Code 10 or 14) is mandatory.Proven experience in driving and transport operations.Forklift operation experience is preferred.Excellent navigational skills and familiarity with Bloemfontein and surrounding areas.Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while dealing with clients and team members.Must possess a dedication to safety and a clear understanding of road regulations.High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.Our company prides itself on providing ample growth opportunities within the transportation field, fostering a culture of teamwork and respect.
