This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in our operations while contributing to a team that values dedication and craftsmanship.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform welding tasks on various components to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.Maintain and repair machinery and equipment to optimize production efficiency.Collaborate with other artisans and teams to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.Conduct regular inspections to identify wear and tear, and perform preventative maintenance as needed.Document all maintenance activities and ensure accurate reporting for future reference.Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff in welding techniques and safety protocols.Participate in project initiatives aimed at improving operational performance and safety measures.Required and preferred qualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Proven experience in welding, preferably within a mining or industrial environment.Knowledge of welding techniques, safety procedures, and best practices.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Certification in welding preferred but not mandatory.Experience with welding equipment and tools relevant to the mining industry.Minimum of 2-3 years in a similar artisan role.Our Artisan team operates within a structured environment where collaboration is key.
