We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Steward to join our team in Rusizi, Western Province, Rwanda. As a full-time member of our staff, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, which is essential for providing an exceptional experience for our guests and ensuring a positive work environment for our team. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the efficiency and overall atmosphere of our establishment. Key Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all dining and kitchen areas. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly. Organize and maintain storage areas for kitchen supplies. Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for events. Communicate effectively with kitchen and dining staff to ensure timely service. Adhere to health and safety regulations in all daily activities. Report any maintenance or cleanliness issues to the supervisor as needed. Required and Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn and take instruction from supervision. Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in food service.
