We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team in Gqeberha, Eastern Cape, South Africa. The successful candidate will have a significant impact on the appearance and functionality of our projects, ensuring that they meet the aesthetic and durability standards our clients expect.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, or sanding as needed.Mix and match paint colors according to specifications.Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.Ensure proper equipment maintenance and cleanliness.Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make adjustments as required.Collaborate with team members to coordinate project timelines and goals.Maintain an organized work environment and adhere to safety protocols.Required and Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to craftsmanship.Prior experience in painting or a related field is preferred.Experience using tools and equipment commonly found in the painting profession.Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team.Certification in painting, home improvement, or a related field is advantageous.Flexibility to work varied hours as needed.Our team is characterized by collaboration and support, encouraging each member to grow their skills and contribute meaningfully.
