The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and punctuality, reflecting our company's dedication to exceptional service.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods and materials.Adhere to traffic laws and regulations while ensuring timely deliveries.Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle to ensure safety and maintenance standards are met.Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle performance.Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding route changes and delivery issues.Participate in training and compliance activities to enhance driving skills and safety awareness.Required and Preferred QualificationsMatric Certificate or equivalent educational qualification.Proven experience as a driver with a valid driving license.Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.Exceptional driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning.Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.Our drivers operate in a team-oriented environment where collaboration and support are paramount.
