As a contract employee, you'll work in a dynamic environment in Midrand, Gauteng, making a direct impact on our supply chain operations while ensuring customer satisfaction and timely deliveries.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain your own bakkie for deliveries, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.Transport goods from distribution centers to customers' locations in a timely manner.Load and unload products, ensuring their safety and integrity during transportation.Follow route plans and schedules to guarantee efficient delivery service.Communicate effectively with the logistics team and customers for pick-up and drop-off confirmations.Document deliveries and obtain necessary signatures and confirmation from clients.Adhere to all traffic regulations and safety protocols to maintain a safe driving record.Required and Preferred QualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalent.Proven experience in driving, with a valid driver's license.Strong knowledge of local road networks and geographical areas.Ability to manage time effectively and deliver items according to agreed schedules.Strong communication skills for interaction with clients and the logistics team.Prior experience in a delivery or logistics role is a plus.Growth opportunities abound at Clover, as we value professional development and strive to promote from within.
