We are seeking a dedicated Travel Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Beaumont, Texas. As part of a supportive healthcare team, you will have a significant impact on the lives of individuals within the correctional system, ensuring their medical needs are met effectively and compassionately.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.Administer medications and treatments per physician orders, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.Monitor and document vital signs, responses to treatments, and changes in patient conditions.Provide patient education regarding health management and post-discharge care.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and coordinate care effectively.Assist in managing medical emergencies with composed and efficient responses.Maintain accurate and timely medical records in accordance with relevant regulations.Required and Preferred QualificationsCurrent Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification required.Med Surg Acute or Correction LVN experience2 years of nursing experience in a LVN MedSurg or Correction setting.CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) and IV Therapy certificationsAbility to work independently and make quick decisions under pressure.Join a healthcare team that values integrity, compassion, and teamwork.
