This position is critical in creating a safe work environment, thereby minimizing risks and promoting safe working practices across all levels of the workforce. If interested please submit your application in CazVid.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards on construction sites.Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in accordance with local regulations.Provide safety training and guidelines to employees and subcontractors.Monitor compliance with safety regulations and company policies through regular site inspections.Investigate accidents and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.Collaborate with project managers and onsite personnel to address safety concerns and improvements.Prepare safety reports and maintain records of incidents and damages.Required and Preferred QualificationsDiploma in Safety Management or a related field.Proficiency in risk assessment techniques and safety management systems.Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.Experience in the construction industry is preferred.Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or similar are advantageous.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.At least 3 years of experience in a safety role, preferably within construction.Our team operates in a collaborative environment that encourages open communication and proactive engagement.
