We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CVOR Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Oceanside, California. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment within the healthcare industry, specifically in surgical and cardiovascular care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes in a critical and fast-paced setting.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiovascular surgical procedures.Monitor patient vital signs and responses during surgery and post-anesthesia recovery.Collaborate with the surgical team to implement and evaluate care plans.Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies as per protocols.Participate in pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups to ensure optimal recovery.Document and maintain accurate patient records, reporting any changes in conditions promptly.Educate patients and their families on surgical procedures and recovery expectations.Required and preferred qualificationsAssociate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical and cardiovascular nursing.Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.As a CVOR Travel RN, you will be part of a supportive and collaborative team structure where nurses, surgeons, and allied health professionals work closely to provide the best care for patients.
