We are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a PRN basis in Fontana, California. This role offers significant opportunities to impact the well-being of patients with complex wound care needs, making a difference in their recovery and quality of life.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and evaluate patients' wound care needs, developing personalized care plans.Perform wound debridement, dressing changes, and other advanced wound care procedures.Document patient progress and response to treatment in accordance with facility policies.Conduct patient and family education regarding wound care and infection prevention.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and ensure continuity of care.Stay informed on best practices and advancements in wound care management.Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.Required and Preferred QualificationsAssociate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.Experience in wound care preferred, with proficiency in wound assessment techniques.Certification in Wound Care (e.g., WOCN, CWCN) is strongly preferred.Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation practices.Minimum of 1-3 years of nursing experience, ideally in wound care or related fields.As a Wound Care RN, you will be part of a supportive team that values collaboration and mutual respect.
