We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Manager specializing in Road Marking to join our team in Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa on a contract basis. Our company is a prominent player in the civil engineering sector, focusing on high-quality road marking projects that enhance road safety and usability. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring successful project completion while adhering to all safety compliance regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage all aspects of road marking construction projects, ensuring timely execution and adherence to specifications.Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets while monitoring progress against these benchmarks.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the construction process.Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.Conduct site inspections and assessments to ensure compliance and quality of work.Prepare progress reports and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory compliance.Implement efficient project management methodologies to optimize resources and project outcomes.Required and Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Strong project management skills with a proven track record in road marking or civil construction.Knowledge of safety compliance regulations is essential.Experience with project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, etc.).A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, particularly within the road marking domain.This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team structure where collaboration is key.
