In this role, you will have a direct impact on patient health and wellbeing, providing essential nursing care and support to patients in a variety of settings.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care, including administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities.Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.Perform basic life support and emergency care as needed to ensure patient safety.Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-treatment care.Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.Required and preferred qualificationsValid nursing license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of New Mexico.Strong patient care skills and knowledge of Basic Life Support (BLS).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus.Our team is structured with a strong focus on collaboration between LPNs, RNs, physicians, and support staff to create an effective healthcare delivery model.
